Primus Aerospace is a leading manufacturing partner to aerospace, defense & space OEMs / Primes & Tier I suppliers.
The company specializes in producing high-tolerance, complex geometry parts; machined out of standard and exotic metals.
Primus works directly with all major aerospace manufacturers (e.

, Boeing, Lockheed, Northrop) to provide components to mission critical civilian and defense programs.
Job Purpose:
The CNC Programmer works with machinery that cuts raw materials into functional items.
They are responsible for interpreting blueprints, designing programs, and setting up machines to produce the components outlined in the program.
They are also involved in maintaining, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure that everything is running smoothly.
Salary/Pay Range:

Fixture design and creationTooling selectionCreate setup sheets and work instructions to hand off programs to operators for productionResponsible for creating In Process Inspection Criteria (IPIC)Interfaces with Setup Machinists and QualityKeeps track of current projects and those in queuePartners with manager on project prioritizationCollaborates with other programmersPromotes a safe work environmentMaintain or improve legacy part quality standards and cycle times with process improvements in accordance to customer and company manufacturing standards, delivery commitments, internal procedures and protocolsWe offer comprehensive benefits including:
